Hatha Yoga is about creating a body which is not a hurdle, in one's life. The body becomes a stepping stone - not a hurdle, not a roadblock - in one's progress of blossoming into his ultimate possibility.

I was first introduced to yoga & meditation as a teenager while studying at the National University of Singapore. I sought to learn these tools merely to address health issues like acidity and insomnia, but got a lot more than just that.
A new intensity filled my life as I volunteered for subsequent yoga programs conducted by Isha Foundation in Singapore, India and the US. I saw people flowering and shedding decades of resistances, illnesses and pain. From seeking happiness, I saw individuals becoming an expression of their joy and playfulness. This made me realize that the most definite way of making an impact on people and this planet is by being an instrument in raising human consciousness.
The 21-week Isha Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program offered at the Isha Yoga Center in India provided the perfect opportunity to establish myself in classical yoga while also training to impart this knowledge to people around. This immersive program equips teachers to offer classical Hatha Yoga in its purest form, as a live process that brings clarity, balance and wellbeing. After completing the training in Dec 2013, I have had the privilege of teaching powerful Hatha Yoga practices in several cities including Tampa, Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis, Florida, San Francisco, New York, and also at Barbados.
